Safer Communities Partnership


The Rochdale Safer Communities Partnership is responsible for achieving six strategic priorities
all aimed at making the borough a safer place to live, work and invest in. These priorities are as
follows:

  • Build and promote safer communities
  • Reduce crime
  • Reduce the harm caused by drugs and alcohol
  • Build respect in communities
  • Reduce anti-social behaviour
  • Prevent offending by children and young people
  • Reduce adult re-offending

Structure of the Safer Communities Partnership
 
There are several subgroups that report to the Rochdale Safer Communities Partnership Performance Board:

• Commisioning Groups: Crime and Disorder,Drugs and Alcohol
• Partnership Business Group (Tactical)
• Strategic Priorities Groups, there are 7 in total
• Township communities Safer Partnerships, there are 4 in total
