Safer Communities Partnership
The Rochdale Safer Communities Partnership is responsible for
achieving six strategic priorities
all aimed at making the borough a safer place to live, work and
invest in. These priorities are as
follows:
- Build and promote safer communities
- Reduce crime
- Reduce the harm caused by drugs and alcohol
- Build respect in communities
- Reduce anti-social behaviour
- Prevent offending by children and young people
- Reduce adult re-offending
Structure of the Safer Communities
Partnership
There are several subgroups that report to the Rochdale Safer
Communities Partnership Performance Board:
• Commisioning Groups: Crime and Disorder,Drugs and
Alcohol
• Partnership Business Group (Tactical)
• Strategic Priorities Groups, there are 7 in total
• Township communities Safer Partnerships, there are 4 in total
